To become a member of Somerville’s Credit Union, you must either:
- Be employed by one of our Select Employer Groups (SEG): City of Somerville, Somerville Housing Authority, Cambridge Elder Services, and UNITE HERE NEJB (or be related to a past or current employee) or
- Become a member of the Somerville Garden Club
Somerville Garden Club
The Garden Club is one of our affiliate groups that allows non-SEG employees to join the Credit Union. Their website can be found here. To join the Garden Club, there is a $25 fee that we reimburse to you as the minimum deposit to keep your account open at our Credit Union.

Simply fill out the account card and return it to us via email, fax, or by coming in person during our operating hours. You will also need to come into the Credit Union in person to verify your identity, so please bring a valid government issued photo ID with you when you come in.
